Fuschia by Vcare #winterfavorites

What is up guys? Hope you've had a great week. My week was pretty much busy with my college test, pending homework and of course, planning my new posts. A few weeks ago, I received a package full of colorful goodies that was kindly sent to me by "Fuschia" by Vkare and decided to use them for a good amount of time so I could share a genuine review with you guys. They sent me the "Blush Face Mask", the "Citrus Orange bath salt" and lastly, the "Garden lavender day cream" Here's my mini review of all of them, hope you like it!

#1 "Blush face mask" (Rose and Calamine)
I'm a big fan of face masks and I'm sold if it is natural! Fuschia's products are handmade and natural. Kuddos for writing all the lovely ingredients of the product. Rose, Aloe Vera and calamine is great for your skin. Not going to lie, the face mask did give a little burning and tingling effect, but that was temporary. After washing off the mask, my skin felt lighter, cleaner and definitely refreshed! The mask smells great with a very strong rose scent, is easy to apply and drys in about 7-10 minutes too. The packaging is my favorite, great for travelling and does not leak.  All in all I would say, it is fairly priced. A Rs.450 box would last for probably a month or two. Pro's: It removes dirt, oiliness and helps give an instant radiance. 100% vegan, does not contain chemicals and is cruelty free. Also, it is free of  chemicals. Con's: Leaves a bit of redness and tingling effect and is a little expensive for it's quantity.

 #2 Citrus orange bath salt
Bath salts again is my absolute favorite. A warm bath salt bath before bed tops of list of pleasures! This one had a citrus scent to it which is very calming. It has sea salt and olive oil which works great for your skin, leaving a lasting soothing effect. Again the packaging, 100% vegan and cruelty free nature along with obviously being hand-made is a win-win. This box costs Rs.250 which would last probably for three weeks or a month depending on your usage. It calms sore body muscle and gives a relaxing effect to your tired body. A well rounded product for me, must try!

#3 Garden Lavender Day Cream
So, I've used this product for two weeks now. The very first thing that fascinated me was it's bright color that really popped up in my package! It has some fantastic ingredients like jojoba oil, lavender oil, olive oil and Aloe Vera. The packaging is super cute and travel-friendly. It is a little thick in consistency and blends well into the skin. Pro's: Moisturizes and hydrates your skin, has an amazing lavender scent which I suppose is natural too and is very very light. Con's: Not the best day cream for oily skin as it has olive oil. Other than that it is a tad bit cloggy.

Thank you guys for reading the review and a special thank you to Fuschia for sending these products! Do leave requests of products which you want me to review :-)

Nivea Body lotion & Soft light moisturiser #winterfavorites

Hello to all my lovely readers! Hope you're doing well and had a kick-ass weekend! It's the beginning of a new manic week which means getting back to work, school and college. For those of you who didn't get a chance to read my last post, I started a brand new series called " #winterfavorites" which is a compilation of reviews of my personal favourite winter essentials which I thought would be very useful to share with you guys since, haircare and skincare is of utmost importance during theses months. For second post of the series I thought of talking you through my absolute must-have winter friendly products from Nivea. I have been using Nivea products since I was an adolescent. For this series especially, I decided to review their Body Lotion and Soft Light moisturiser which is personally the best from their range. Read ahead for the detailed review.

Nivea Body Lotion & Soft Light moisturiser
- Body Lotion

It's claims and it's Quality: Free of ethyl alcohol and colorants, it is skin compatibility dermatologically approved. Has advanced UVA/UVA filters. It helps to protect from the effects of UV rays while being exposed to the sun. It prevents premature skin-ageing and your own protection system is reinforced.

My experience: Unlike other body lotions, the Nivea body lotion feels very light on the skin. All the other body lotions I have used are very rich and feel uncomfortably heavy on my skin. Secondly, it's UV protect. It plays a dual role by protecting my skin which is ideal for the Indian winters. Talking about it's packaging, it is encased in a plastic white bottle which does not leak which makes it very travel-friendly. I have the 200 ml pack which can be carried in your carry on bag pack or suitcase. Coming to it's texture and fragrance, it smells fairly good and is very creamy, almost milky. It blends very well into your skin too.

- Soft Light moisturiser

It's claims and it's quality: Contains Vitamin E. Gives fresh and soft skin and has a fast absorbing formula. (Ingredients are not mentioned)

My experience: Pretty much similar in quality to their body lotion. Very light and prevents drying makes my skin very silky post application. The skin absorbs the cream very well too. Yes, it is travel friendly, but in all honestly it is a little clumsy to use it for it does not have a pump as I have to dip my fingers into it. Wished it had a UV protect because then one needs to apply a sunscreen too.

Worth the money? Final Verdict: Definitely! The body lotion costs Rs.200 and the moisturiser costs Rs.80. They last for three and one month respectively. Also, they last for 30 months from manufacture so have a pretty long shelf life. They are both effective too and worth a try. The best part about these products is the fact that it isn't restricted to a particular gender or age group because my entire family uses it which makes it an efficient product. Cheap and comes from a reputed brand, so a reliable product too!

Neesh perfumes review

Hello everybody, hope everyone's having a kick ass day whilst reading this! So I've pretty much been on a review spree for the past month and this week I thought of talking about my new favorite carry on essential. It was super kind of Neesh to send some of their products for me to review. So here's my honest review of these perfumes, keep reading!

About Neesh & it's claims:

Neesh is a unique company with international packaging that is launching in all sates of India. It offers a delightful aromatic experience through it's products which uses natural and organic ingredients. It's main USP is that it lasts up to 12 hours, it's 20 ml pik pack contains 400 sprays and the pik pack fits in every pocket apart from containing very high quality fragrances. Let's dive into the review!

 What I like:

> Packaging: The perfume is encased in a compact pocket size container and it can be carried almost anywhere. It is perfect for travel, school, college, work or even if you're heading for a party. It can easily fit into your pocket or purse and serves as a great carry on.

> Affordability: The 20 ml perfume is available for Rs.340 which according to me is a great deal. It is a great option for gifting purposes as well.

> Unique scents: So I received two strong flavored scents called "Zaafran e Hindustan" and "Oud de Venice" The flavors give an attar feel and if you've read my previous posts

The first scent, which is personally my favorite contains a floral hint because of the rose and saffron, is definitely spicy because of the cinnamon and cardamom and to finish it off, it has a base note of amber which adds a gorgeous deep scent for that subtle evening fragrance.

The second scent is a bit more on the stronger note and no doubt exotic! The Iran saffron and dark rose along with the unique hint of musk and amber make it a perfect pick for fierce perfume lovers.

> Natural, fresh & organic ingredients: As mentioned above, the ingredients are super natural and have an Indian flavor which truly wins my heart.

What I don't like:

> Isn't long lasting: If you're going to use this for a day out at least three sprays will be required to smell fresh throughout the day. Of course, it's strong fragrances are noticeable, but it definitely doesn't last up to 12 hours.

All in all it is a winner for me. Great purchase if you're looking for unique, organic scents that are travel friendly and worth the price. Let me know if you liked the review and leave comments of any other product you want me to review in particular! Have a cracking day :D

Forest Essentials facial cleansers #beautyreview

Left to right: Saundarya Ayurvedic serum, Eternal youth formula (date and lichi),
Delicate facial cleanser (Kahmiri saffron and rosewater), Delicate facial
cleanser (Honey and rosewater)

The past few weeks of this transitioning monsoon season have been pretty challenging for my skin. Having very sensitive skin prone to acne and frequent breakouts, I'm very particular about the kind of skincare products I use. Since, the past six months I've been obsessing over Forest Essentials, a luxury Ayurveda brand. Being a chemical-free and all natural product lover, this brand has become my absolute go-to. I have purchased their creams, serums and body lotions, but this time around I bought their delicate facial cleansers in two varities, "Mashobra Honey and Rosewater" and "Kashmiri saffron and neem" Let's get down to the review!

What I like:

> Packaging: The packaging of this product is one of my favorites. It is travel friendly, compact and can fit anywhere. It has a plastic stopper which helps us use the required amount of product at a time without wasting much and helps in avoiding spillage. All in all the packaging is great.

> Worth the price: The 50ml package is available for Rs. 275 which is a good bargain for a luxury Ayurvedic brand. Considering you need a very small quantity , it lasts easily for  6 months or so and is an economical buy for regular use.

> Mild: As I mentioned about I have very sensitive skin, so to compliment that I need a very mild facewash and this product does that perfectly. As the bottle says it is very delicate on the skin especially the "Kashmiri saffron and neem" which suits my acne prone skin. It is ideal for everyday use to clean your skin.

> Ingredients: This is probably my favorite part of this product. It is completely natural and chemical free and doesn't make my skin struggle with any harsh chemicals. It contains some exceptional ingredients like kewda, rosewater and neem oil which are great for your skin.

> Variety for all skin types: When I visited the store the salesperson guided me through their face washes and it was pleasant to know that there was a face wash for each skin type. The "Kashmiri saffron and neem" in particular is for oily skin and the "soya milk" variety is for dry skin. They work in your skin's weaknesses and repair is very soon.

> Immediate results: The most appealing aspect of this product that will make you want to repurchase it is that it leaves an immediate result on your skin. Every time I use it, it leaves a fabulous glow on my skin. It drives oiliness away like magic. It has a great scent too.

What I don't like:

>  Consistency: The consistency is a slightly thick to almost liquid which I don't really have a problem with. The only thing which is not very satisfying to the experience is that it does not foam or lather. It does behave like a quintessential face wash and I'm unsure whether that's good or bad. It possibly doesn't lather because it is chemical free.

> Doesn't work on acne: Although it does not promise to reduce acne, I expected some good results when it comes to pigmentation. It didn't do so considering it is very mild. It only leaves your skin soft, hydrates it and adds a gorgeous glow.

That is it for the review. Overall, it is a must-try. If you're looking for worth the price product which is completely natural, go for this one, trust me you won't regret it!
