Hello you lovely peeps! It's been a while since I was here and I'm sorry for being MIA for over a month. Honestly, I had second thoughts about this blog for several reasons and decided to discontinue blogging for several reasons. My likes and followers were reducing and I lost interest in making content. If you follow me on Instagram, you'd know that I did in fact shut my blog, but because of the lovely friends and family that I have, I was reminded of why I initially started out. I didn't start out for followers, likes, comments, money or collaborations. I started out for my pure love for fashion and sharing it with you guys! So, this summer I decided to re-start my blog and share content about what I am truly passionate about! Sorry for getting senti, let's get talking about this post :-p

This summer was incredibly special. For a person like me who is fond of travelling, having Scandinavia on my bucket list was not a shocker! From saving travel photos from Norway on Instagram to finally getting to pose at the exact same locations, this trip was nothing short of a dream. I was away for 14 days and visited 5 countries, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Helsinki. Since, there is too much to share I decided to come up with a travel series called the "#scandinaviaseries" I'll be sharing three blog posts all about my experiences, must-do's and will also make a video which will take a little more time. I am dedicating the first of this series to what I wore during this trip. Hope you enjoy the look book.

The Diwali story!

Happy Diwali to all my lovely readers! Festivities, colors and ethnic vibes pretty much sums up our current state. Expect for the fact that you're going to add a few (a little more than few) inches this festive season, there is only joy and immense excitement around the corner for the upcoming Diwali festivities! For those of you who don't know, I love traditional wear, sequins, bling,  jhumkaas and all that Desi jazz, therefore it was vital for me to do a special Diwali post! I've mellowed down a lot from my usual 'dressed up' ethnic wear for a more sober and Indo-western look this time. I decided to pair my gorgeous lehnga with a net crop top and to amp it up, paired some gold accessories. Kept everything pretty simple, and added my own little touch with my classic blue reflectors and red lips. Also, a little story time! I decided to shoot this outfit in the middle of nowhere in a pool full of unsteady rocks in a super long lehnga under the Mumbai sun in heels. The struggle was real! Neesh perfumes review

Hello everybody, hope everyone's having a kick ass day whilst reading this! So I've pretty much been on a review spree for the past month and this week I thought of talking about my new favorite carry on essential. It was super kind of Neesh to send some of their products for me to review. So here's my honest review of these perfumes, keep reading!

About Neesh & it's claims:

Neesh is a unique company with international packaging that is launching in all sates of India. It offers a delightful aromatic experience through it's products which uses natural and organic ingredients. It's main USP is that it lasts up to 12 hours, it's 20 ml pik pack contains 400 sprays and the pik pack fits in every pocket apart from containing very high quality fragrances. Let's dive into the review!

 What I like:

> Packaging: The perfume is encased in a compact pocket size container and it can be carried almost anywhere. It is perfect for travel, school, college, work or even if you're heading for a party. It can easily fit into your pocket or purse and serves as a great carry on.

> Affordability: The 20 ml perfume is available for Rs.340 which according to me is a great deal. It is a great option for gifting purposes as well. 

> Unique scents: So I received two strong flavored scents called "Zaafran e Hindustan" and "Oud de Venice" The flavors give an attar feel and if you've read my previous posts

The first scent, which is personally my favorite contains a floral hint because of the rose and saffron, is definitely spicy because of the cinnamon and cardamom and to finish it off, it has a base note of amber which adds a gorgeous deep scent for that subtle evening fragrance. 

The second scent is a bit more on the stronger note and no doubt exotic! The Iran saffron and dark rose along with the unique hint of musk and amber make it a perfect pick for fierce perfume lovers. 

> Natural, fresh & organic ingredients: As mentioned above, the ingredients are super natural and have an Indian flavor which truly wins my heart. 


What I don't like: 

> Isn't long lasting: If you're going to use this for a day out at least three sprays will be required to smell fresh throughout the day. Of course, it's strong fragrances are noticeable, but it definitely doesn't last up to 12 hours. 

All in all it is a winner for me. Great purchase if you're looking for unique, organic scents that are travel friendly and worth the price. Let me know if you liked the review and leave comments of any other product you want me to review in particular! Have a cracking day :D

Wedding #OOTD

Hello readers! Recently, I attended a wedding and finally got the chance to wear this gorgeous gold & sand brown anarkali. My mom let me borrow some of her gold jewellery from Tanishq that I'm obsessed with which complimented the outfit. Eid #OOTD

Belated Eid Mubarak to all my readers! Undoubtedly, eid is one of the happiest days of the year. Every year I indulge in some heavy silhouettes and bling, but this year I opted for a very simple and elegant Lucknowi mint green dress that I'm obsessed with. While I was busy distributing some delicious sevaiya to some friends and family, I took some time out to click some snaps for an #OOTD post. This dress was in material form from "Vandana" and I got it stitched according to my liking at "Sagar boutique" both located in Linking road, Bandra. I opted for a boat neck, full length sheer sleeves and full length kurti. Here are some pictures, enjoy!

Since my childhood while flipping through the pages of a glossy magazine or while staring at the hoardings on the streets with a celebrity endorsing the brand, I had secretly desired to own an expensive ladies handbag someday, which comes in the latest style.
