Fuschia by Vcare #winterfavorites

What is up guys? Hope you've had a great week. My week was pretty much busy with my college test, pending homework and of course, planning my new posts. A few weeks ago, I received a package full of colorful goodies that was kindly sent to me by "Fuschia" by Vkare and decided to use them for a good amount of time so I could share a genuine review with you guys. They sent me the "Blush Face Mask", the "Citrus Orange bath salt" and lastly, the "Garden lavender day cream" Here's my mini review of all of them, hope you like it!

#1 "Blush face mask" (Rose and Calamine)
I'm a big fan of face masks and I'm sold if it is natural! Fuschia's products are handmade and natural. Kuddos for writing all the lovely ingredients of the product. Rose, Aloe Vera and calamine is great for your skin. Not going to lie, the face mask did give a little burning and tingling effect, but that was temporary. After washing off the mask, my skin felt lighter, cleaner and definitely refreshed! The mask smells great with a very strong rose scent, is easy to apply and drys in about 7-10 minutes too. The packaging is my favorite, great for travelling and does not leak.  All in all I would say, it is fairly priced. A Rs.450 box would last for probably a month or two. Pro's: It removes dirt, oiliness and helps give an instant radiance. 100% vegan, does not contain chemicals and is cruelty free. Also, it is free of  chemicals. Con's: Leaves a bit of redness and tingling effect and is a little expensive for it's quantity.

 #2 Citrus orange bath salt
Bath salts again is my absolute favorite. A warm bath salt bath before bed tops of list of pleasures! This one had a citrus scent to it which is very calming. It has sea salt and olive oil which works great for your skin, leaving a lasting soothing effect. Again the packaging, 100% vegan and cruelty free nature along with obviously being hand-made is a win-win. This box costs Rs.250 which would last probably for three weeks or a month depending on your usage. It calms sore body muscle and gives a relaxing effect to your tired body. A well rounded product for me, must try!

#3 Garden Lavender Day Cream
So, I've used this product for two weeks now. The very first thing that fascinated me was it's bright color that really popped up in my package! It has some fantastic ingredients like jojoba oil, lavender oil, olive oil and Aloe Vera. The packaging is super cute and travel-friendly. It is a little thick in consistency and blends well into the skin. Pro's: Moisturizes and hydrates your skin, has an amazing lavender scent which I suppose is natural too and is very very light. Con's: Not the best day cream for oily skin as it has olive oil. Other than that it is a tad bit cloggy.

Thank you guys for reading the review and a special thank you to Fuschia for sending these products! Do leave requests of products which you want me to review :-)

Nivea Body lotion & Soft light moisturiser #winterfavorites

Hello to all my lovely readers! Hope you're doing well and had a kick-ass weekend! It's the beginning of a new manic week which means getting back to work, school and college. For those of you who didn't get a chance to read my last post, I started a brand new series called " #winterfavorites" which is a compilation of reviews of my personal favourite winter essentials which I thought would be very useful to share with you guys since, haircare and skincare is of utmost importance during theses months. For second post of the series I thought of talking you through my absolute must-have winter friendly products from Nivea. I have been using Nivea products since I was an adolescent. For this series especially, I decided to review their Body Lotion and Soft Light moisturiser which is personally the best from their range. Read ahead for the detailed review.

Nivea Body Lotion & Soft Light moisturiser
- Body Lotion

It's claims and it's Quality: Free of ethyl alcohol and colorants, it is skin compatibility dermatologically approved. Has advanced UVA/UVA filters. It helps to protect from the effects of UV rays while being exposed to the sun. It prevents premature skin-ageing and your own protection system is reinforced.

My experience: Unlike other body lotions, the Nivea body lotion feels very light on the skin. All the other body lotions I have used are very rich and feel uncomfortably heavy on my skin. Secondly, it's UV protect. It plays a dual role by protecting my skin which is ideal for the Indian winters. Talking about it's packaging, it is encased in a plastic white bottle which does not leak which makes it very travel-friendly. I have the 200 ml pack which can be carried in your carry on bag pack or suitcase. Coming to it's texture and fragrance, it smells fairly good and is very creamy, almost milky. It blends very well into your skin too.

- Soft Light moisturiser

It's claims and it's quality: Contains Vitamin E. Gives fresh and soft skin and has a fast absorbing formula. (Ingredients are not mentioned)

My experience: Pretty much similar in quality to their body lotion. Very light and prevents drying makes my skin very silky post application. The skin absorbs the cream very well too. Yes, it is travel friendly, but in all honestly it is a little clumsy to use it for it does not have a pump as I have to dip my fingers into it. Wished it had a UV protect because then one needs to apply a sunscreen too.

Worth the money? Final Verdict: Definitely! The body lotion costs Rs.200 and the moisturiser costs Rs.80. They last for three and one month respectively. Also, they last for 30 months from manufacture so have a pretty long shelf life. They are both effective too and worth a try. The best part about these products is the fact that it isn't restricted to a particular gender or age group because my entire family uses it which makes it an efficient product. Cheap and comes from a reputed brand, so a reliable product too!

BBlunt Full on Volume Review #WINTERFAVORITES

Hello lovelies! Hope you're all doing great. Winter has finally begun which calls for some extra hair and skin care. Since drying of hair and skin during winters is of great concern among many others, I thought of discussing a few of mine Winter friendly products are I highly recommend through a series called "#WINTERFAVORITES' Along with that I will be sharing mini reviews and my experience with it. I'm going to kickstart it with one of my personal favorite brand for hair care products, Bblunt! Bblunt is made for the Indian hair type making it exclusive for the kind of weather and pollution your hair goes through. Lately, my hair has been lacking volume which is why I picked this shampoo, giving you just the kind of nourishment you need this winter! Read on for my review:

It's claims: Gives incredible volume and lift and retains essential moisture

My experience: Being an avid user of Bblunt products I trust their range. No, it does not make your hair look like that of a shampoo models' but what is does truly well is nourishes your hair. It hasn't increased the volume of my hair drastically, but my fine hair has become a tad bit thicker making it look relatively voluminous. The shampoo is encased in a large bottle which is rather quirky in shape making is a little inefficient to store nor travel friendly.  Apart from that, loves it's color which attracts your eye towards the product. One pump is enough to drive away oiliness and dirt. Smells good and leaves a pleasant scent. It has color protect too making it a safe option for all. It forms lather very easily, making your hair hydrated, giving you a soft lift.

Worth the money? To be honest, Bblunt range of products is not very expensive, but this shampoo is probably the most priced one I have bought as of now. It costs Rs.550 which personally is fairly priced. Since you need merely a pump, this shampoo will last you for over 3-4 months making it worth it.

Final Verdict: Highly recommend it!As I said earlier, it is ideal for Indian hair type, especially if you have frizzy, wavy hair. A genuinely good product at a good price, worth your go!
