Off-shoulder love

Seems like old-school glamour is back in town! No matter what your body type is, a flattering off-shoulder can make you look sexy and sophisticated at the same time. The summer season is all about shrugging off your sleeves and flaunting that bare shoulder. While I'm busy working on my New Zealand travel diaries which is taking a bit longer than I expected I decided to share this look. The other day I shot for this very summery and feminine look featuring a beautiful off-shoulder with a pair of light washed ripped jeans to balance the look. To finish it off, I brought my new tan sandals out for a walk which I'm obsessed with along with a simple pendant choker. I say this quiet often, but simple items when paired appropriately make for a great outfit. Have a look!

7 Instagram accounts every fashionista must follow!

Don't even try to deny it, Instagram is your addiction too! Apart from being an addiction of course, it is one of my main source of inspiration for almost everything. From food, fashion, fitness, travel to beauty, Instagram has something in store for everyone. Being a wannabe fashionista myself I constantly look up for creative accounts that deal with fashion and other related nuances. I decided to round up seven of my favorite Instagram accounts that are awfully good and make you want to get up on your toes and try every new fashion trend in town. Have a look!

#7 @kystyle (Celebrity stylist)

Ever given a thought about the person behind celebrities like Selena Gomez, Natalie Portman, Dakota Johnson and Michelle William's bold style ? Well, this woman is the person behind all their fashion statements. Being an avid selenator and considering her as one of my fashion icons, I love going through her feed. Ranging from Red Carpet looks, stage shows to editorials, I get a blend of everything. 

#6 @tesschristinexo (Fahion vlogger and blogger)

celebspiration.com is my favorite blog when it comes to cheaper apparel swatches which has been worn by celebrities. It is quite a task to really find reasonable alternatives for high-end brands, but when someone does it for you, it's quite astonishing to see how you can actually put together an outfit at much much cheaper rates. Tess Christine has an amazing fashion sense and her feed will give you some serious inspiration.

#5 @styledrive (Indian fashion blogger)

Aayushi Bangur is undoubtedly one of my favorite fashion blogger. Her feminine style with a unique edginess makes her stand out from other bloggers. From lace to denim she offers you her varied style and is sure to inspire you for your future outfit choices! 

#4 @forever21 (Official forever 21 account)

The official forever 21 account is going to give you some intense #outfitgoals feels because each one of them is so well put together and is super trendy. The reason I like to scroll through this feed is that it gives me a clear idea of what is in the stores for the particular season and gives me an idea of what I should be buying and when!

#3 @fashionvideos.s (Hair and makeup hacks)

If you're a makeup and hair  junkie and are constantly looking for hacks, tips and tricks, this account is the thang for you. It has done a great job of keeping me updated with the new products, DIYs and techniques and will keep you hooked.

#2 @santushi_thestyledge (Indian fashion blogger)

There is a very less probability that you haven't heard of her. This dusky and bold blogger will make you want to stalk her forever because her style is to-die-for. From travel chic to effortless casuals, she carries off almost anything with ease and confidence. If you're not following her yet, well duh, do it!

#1 @songofstyle (Fashion blogger)

When a person makes it to the forbes under 30 list, you know they're here to slay. A world renowned fashion blogger, her style is un ignorable!

Turtlenecks & Dungarees #OOTD

Probably one of the best summer break I've had in a while because visiting a country that has topped your bucket list, well it can't get better than that. For those who don't follow me on my social media wouldn't know that I was in New Zealand for 10 days and returned a couple of days ago, yes jet lag is hella tough! Although, I had planned to shoot for a lot of outfits while I was there, I couldn't do so because of the tight schedules and horrible weather! Nevertheless, I'll be sharing some, enjoy :-)

Travel in style #OOTD

One of the most vital thought to keep in mind while planning a travel outfit is having a blend of both comfort and fashion. For me, staying chic and at the same time being able to run around and jump is very important! Recently, on my trip to New Zealand I put together a travel outfit that was not only super comfy, but also stylish. Keeping in mind the temperature was 4 degree celsius, I opted for a knit sweater dress with a pair of stretchable black leggings. For further cover, I carried my favorite army green coat that I'm loving lately and of course, white sneakers, the ultimate travel essential. Have a look!

7 Fashion Trends for Summer '16

                             

Summer season is here and just like every girl you're probably scrambling through your wardrobe trying to put together a jaw-dropping outfit. For me, effortless fashion is the best kind of fashion, so I've got you covered with all the fashion trends that I'm totally digging. Have a look!

> Off - shoulders

Bared shoulders the THE thing this season! Pair it with some quirky chokers or earrings to make any simple outfit simply wow. If you have big shoulders, I would recommend wearing a shoulder cut top which helps you cover up.

> Hems

Gone are the days to cut all the hems from the end of your trousers. Hems add to a great amount of detail and give a rustic, unfinished look presenting a laidback vibe.

> Lace up sandals

When it comes to footwear, we've sort of aimed at the bohemian vibe. Ballet flats are not my favorite thing, but these lace up sandals are way too stylish to be ignored. Perfect for music festivals these are perfect add-ons for summer dresses.

> Denim skirts

                        

Seems like the mini skirts are making a comeback! Denim skirts are versatile and can be paired with almost everything. My personal favorite is a button down skirt which is super girly and edgy.

> Wide cropped trousers

Every store I've been to is flaunting this look. Wide trousers can be a little daunting to wear as they do not fair well with all body types, but these trousers can make you stand out from the crowd with it's cut, shade and pattern.

> Bandanna

Almost every music festival outfit I've seen on the internet has a bandanna wrapped around their neck. Bandannas are no more a hair accessory! Red being the most popular color, white too is my favorite. It gives a retro vibe to the outfit and is easy to carry off. 

> Rucksacks 

                           

Saved the best for the last because well, rucksacks are life. They're no more a school or college essential and build the look for a sporty vibe. They are available in so many different styles and one can personalize it with badges or even by pinning their initials.
