Mild Winters #OOTD

Hello to all my gorgeous readers! Hope you'll had a great Christmas with lots of joy surrounded by your loved ones. So here's the last post of 2016 which makes me nostalgic and happy at the same time. The year flew seamlessly and hell yeah it's been quite a ride! As far as JustJilaniThingsblog, I'm very content with it's progress and really wish that our community grows bigger and better in the coming year of 2017. This year I got to collaborate with some amazing companies, met some fabulous souls and made more unforgettable memories with old friends and family. Really grateful for all the endevours and super pumped up to celebrate New Year's eve. I'm going to end this oh-so-senti rant now and move on to talk about this post.

 Although I'm a hardcore Bombay girl, the only thing that is a big turn off for me is it's winter season which to be honest is non-existent! Nevertheless the evenings tend to become a little chilly which urges me to unfold my winter garments that have been unused for a predominant amount of time around the year. I wanted to therefore share this impromptu photo shoot that my sister shot at South Bombay, have a look!

The Dungaree Story

Calling 90s fashion fans! Dungarees are back again and are definitely here to stay for a long time. Denim dungarees are an A-lists street style staple and a wardrobe go-to. Although there are gazillion types of dungarees available in stores right now, I decided to experiment a bit and style a flattering skater style. With 90s fashion growing fast, it's time to buckle up and embrace Hollywood's new-it trends which is not just denim but also, choker shirts. Part turtleneck, part off-shoulder, this top is everything you ever wanted. My personal favorite thing is to mingle two top trends and come up with a gorgeous outfit. This one is comfortable and chic, perfect for the #backtoschool season. I purchased this super stylish choker top along with this dark washed denim dungaree from stalkbuylove.com and simply can't get enough of it! Paired it with my staple white shoes from ONLY, reflectors from Glassons, watch from Calvin Klein and last but definitely not the least, my black backpack from Michael Kors. Off-shoulder love

Seems like old-school glamour is back in town! No matter what your body type is, a flattering off-shoulder can make you look sexy and sophisticated at the same time. The summer season is all about shrugging off your sleeves and flaunting that bare shoulder. While I'm busy working on my New Zealand travel diaries which is taking a bit longer than I expected I decided to share this look. The other day I shot for this very summery and feminine look featuring a beautiful off-shoulder with a pair of light washed ripped jeans to balance the look. To finish it off, I brought my new tan sandals out for a walk which I'm obsessed with along with a simple pendant choker. I say this quiet often, but simple items when paired appropriately make for a great outfit. Have a look!

Turtlenecks & Dungarees #OOTD

Probably one of the best summer break I've had in a while because visiting a country that has topped your bucket list, well it can't get better than that. For those who don't follow me on my social media wouldn't know that I was in New Zealand for 10 days and returned a couple of days ago, yes jet lag is hella tough! Although, I had planned to shoot for a lot of outfits while I was there, I couldn't do so because of the tight schedules and horrible weather! Nevertheless, I'll be sharing some, enjoy :-)

Travel in style #OOTD

One of the most vital thought to keep in mind while planning a travel outfit is having a blend of both comfort and fashion. For me, staying chic and at the same time being able to run around and jump is very important! Recently, on my trip to New Zealand I put together a travel outfit that was not only super comfy, but also stylish. Keeping in mind the temperature was 4 degree celsius, I opted for a knit sweater dress with a pair of stretchable black leggings. For further cover, I carried my favorite army green coat that I'm loving lately and of course, white sneakers, the ultimate travel essential. Have a look!
